I inherited an Oceanside Condo last fall that was outdated and I was considering whether to sell it as is or spend time and money and effort to renovate. I attended an open house in the complex where I first met Jesselyn Gulla and I peppered her with questions, which she cheerfully and patiently answered. Jesselyn even agreed to stop over after her open house and, on her own time, give advise.   Not only is Jesselyn generous with her time but she has deep real estate knowledge well beyond her years. Jesselyn has real estate business in her family and it’s clear she learned a great deal early. Jesselyn gave me her honest advice about the current market value of the unit and potential future market value if renovated. She never presumed to tell me what I should do… just what she thought could be done.   This is an example of her customer-focused style and even temperament. Some agents know everything and make sure everyone knows it. Jesselyn is knowledgeable, smart and mature and knows that loud and pushy is no substitute for wise professionalism. I did indeed spend months renovating the condo, incorporating many of the ideas she generously advised.   When it came time to put the condo on the market, I had a tough choice. I had put lots of capital into the place and so selling fees and agent fees mattered a lot to me. Jesselyn not only worked with me to minimize her fee but she did so with her characteristic tough but fair manner. She carried that approach throughout the sale. She has a keen eye for staging a property and she was always cheerfully present for open houses and showings. And she always knows where her time and efforts are best deployed.   In the end, I sold my condo for asking price, cash and far higher than comparable units have ever sold for in this complex.  Listing day to closing day was just 21 days! Yes this is a seller’s market just now and yes the renovations made a big difference but I could never have done this without Jesselyn. I can recommend her without any reservation. In fact, anyone in the market for a real estate agent would be well advised to contract the services of Jesselyn Gulla before she is too busy and sought after to sign with you.


Having worked with several realtors it was refreshing to find one more interested in finding a home that fits my needs than simply selling me one. Jesselyn was fantastic in making sure I understood each step of the process as well as being readily available to answer questions over the phone or in person.
